Breathing is an essential component of mindfulness and there are many ways to practice mindful breathing. One simple way is by using the Just Breathe 4/7/8 technique.

1.
Exhale completely.
2.
Inhale through your nose on a count of FOUR.
3.
Hold your breath for a count of SEVEN.
4.
Exhale audibly through your mouth on a count of EIGHT.
Repeat the steps above four times!
