Our Bronx Pride Summit and LGBTQ+ Liaison work is a historic celebration of the LGBTQ+ community born and cultivated in the Bronx.
We partner with Bronx LGBTQ+ trailblazers and non-profits to curate an experience for our students and staff allies that centers Joy and gives them a vision of success for their futures.
We are proud of our staff allies and their LGBTQ+ Youth Leaders who help make the event possible, and who help to celebrate LGBTQ+ identities and create inclusive environments in their home schools.
The work involves the development and cultivation of GSAs in schools across the Bronx, supported by key organizations and Bronx South high schools in Districts 7, 9, and 12.

Pops with a Purpose is a new initiative coordinated by Bronx North High School Districts 8, 10, and 11 to strengthen community and connection among fathers and male caregivers of high school students. The group provides a welcoming space where men can come together to share experiences, support one another, and celebrate the important role they play in their children's lives. Through regular meetings, members will have access to valuable community resources, parenting workshops, and open discussions about the challenges and successes of raising teenagers. Pops with a Purpose will focus on building positive parenting techniques and strategies to foster strong, healthy relationships at home. The group will also explore ways for fathers to stay actively engaged in their children’s academic and personal development. By creating a network of support, we aim to empower dads to be present, connected, and informed. Together, we will build a community where every father knows he matters.
